I've been a reader my entire life. Books have always been my escape, my comfort, my adventure. Over the years I discovered that the world of reading extends far beyond just the books themselves — there are candles made to match your favorite story, subscription boxes full of beautiful surprises, artists creating gorgeous literary prints, podcasters discussing the books you love, and travel experiences centered around the places stories are set.
I created Reader's Home to be the place I always wished existed — one destination where a book lover can discover all of it. Not just books, but everything that surrounds the love of reading.
What Reader's Home Is About
I don't want to reinvent the wheel. Amazon, Goodreads, and Facebook are great at what they do. What I want to do is shine a spotlight on the incredible companies, artists, creators, authors, and communities that exist in the reading world — many of which you probably haven't heard of yet.
I've had so many moments in book groups where someone mentions a shop or a podcast I never knew about, and everyone in the comments lights up with excitement. That's what I want Reader's Home to be — the place where you find the stuff you didn't know to look for.
This site is a constant work in progress, and I think that's a beautiful thing. The reading world never stops growing, and neither will this one.
